Dan Jespersen
Dan founded 7C Shipping in 2012 and has over 25 years of experience in the maritime industry. The last 20 years have been focused on the commercial side including financial structuring and the management of asset investments in the maritime industry. During this time Dan has participated in and led the creation of financial structures of over 50 vessels with a total value of close to USD 3 billion. One notable deal was a leasing transaction for KGAL which won the Marine Money leasing deal of the year.
Prior to setting up 7C Shipping Dan was employed within V.Group, with his most recent positionswere CEO of V.Ships Financial and Managing Director of AL Ships GmbH. Before this Dan was employed by A.P. Moller/Maersk where he held a number of commercial and management positions, including Head of Daily Operations with the bulk sector and was part of the senior management team in Maersk Brazil.
Dan trained in the Royal Danish Navy’s Academy, where he graduated top in his class as a Master Mariner and Tactical Officer, and also holds a graduate degree in Business Administration in International Management and Economics.
